Seems like everyone has left. Anyway, I am still here and am feeling kinda lonely, like the fat kid in the sandbox. Nobody wants to play anymore.

I'm still here. Just haven't gotten on as much as I like lately.

Quick update on my season so far. Been seeing good numbers of ducks. Only been skunked once so far during the regular season. Weather was horrible, so the ducks were sitting tight.

Went out with a buddy on Friday and we took the only two ducks to come into the decoys (drake and hen widgeon pair). Watched a perfect example of why you need to hunt the "X". We were hunting a fair sized marsh, not huge by any means and we watched duck after duck lock up and hit smack dab in the middle of a ton of flooded weeds right out in the middle away from everything else. Bad thing was it was way too deep to get to without a boat. Oh well, got some good bird watching in that day. That was my most recent hunt.

Haven't shot a ton of ducks this season, but better than last season so far and seen more consistent numbers. Mallards are almost fully colored and we have already been seeing good numbers of them. Still seeing good numbers of GWT, Gads, Wigs, and Pintails. Also seeing a few flocks of Specks and Snows headed south. Not seeing a lot of Canada goose action yet, but that should pick up if the weather can start getting colder.

I'd post here more but some guy from Texas mocked my alias on another site and now I'm totally intimidated to post here.
