Hey Birdman,
Thanks for the thought , You hit the nail on the head about farming !! It is kind of like gambling when you have to depend on Mother nature . We planted treated beans this year for the first time and were very pleased with outcome . They can withstand alot of stress !! Our neighbors across the road planted the same day I did with untreated asgrow beans and made 21 bushel , and they just about had a cow when when they saw the yeild monitor on the Pioneer treated beans . As far as my duck lake corn goes that is another story ,the worst we have had but pletty of feed . It came up great and then 22days of rain , had to side dress it because all of the rain washed the nitrigon out and then the drought started , but that is how it goes . 3000.00 $ of cemical down the drain . It is what it is and there is nothing you can do about it but just move on and enjoy hunting , family and friends!!!!

Yeah, everything I planted this year took a hit. The wheat was late and adverse conditions made it spotty and after that i went in with second crop milo...it may not beat the frost, and the corn yeild is down around 85 per acre and late as well so the price is gonna suck for it. Oh well, at least I will have lots of birdfeed, lol. The deer and turkey should really prosper as well, lol.
