Hey guys i heard this one, and thought it should work.
Carry panty hose in your blind bag and once you shoot a bird that you want to get mounted slide it in a leg and it will keep all the feathers and plumage looking good.

Yes this does work but one more step. Make sure you cut off the foot end so you do not pull the bird out against the feathers!!

I've heard of that also. I used a bread bag when I had my woodduck done. main thing is to get the bird to the dermist as soon as possible. The two ducks I've taken in were both to the shop less than 24 hours after being shot. that way, nothing has time to stain the feathers and the colors remain bright and true.
