Marsh Flooding Pumps |
|
Does anyone have any resources for water pumps large enough to flood duck marshes? I'm talking about at least 6"pumps up to 10"- 12". I have a client who is having me build a 16 acre duck marsh that will cover around 15 acres and he will need a water pump to flood it from his existing lake. The pump needs to be diesel powered and have a flow rate of at least 1000 gallons per minute (1000 GPM). Thanks! :D

I would search online for agriculture pumps or something like that.

Birdman a friend of mine rented one from a farm service center ,I think it cost him $500 a day but he only needed it for 2 or 3 days. It was huge and ran off the PTO on his tractor, we did price one of the pumps and the thing ran like 20,000 to buy a used one so I guess 1,500 was not bad. Good Luck.
